The Albury Wodonga Community College is a diverse education hub catering for all age groups. It offers VET accredited training, high school education for years 9-12 (Indie School), certificates in general education (Lifeworks, 2C4S), University of the Third Age for older learners (U3A), and childcare services at The Community Early Years Childcare (CEYC). The Community College’s auditorium and classrooms can be hired for meetings, training seminars, conferences and other events. Founded in 1974 as an independent adult educational centre, the college has evolved significantly since starting from a small organisation with only 200 adult aged students and one part-time staff member. It has grown to about 100 full-time and part-time staff and more than 50 trainers/assessors, supporting 3500 students/clients and customers each year. The college is located on the corner of South and High streets, with its car park accessible off Church St. Parking is also available on South St. The CEYC on South St is a long day care centre incorporating a Victorian Government funded kindergarten program.
