Right move for physio business

A Wodonga physiotherapy business has relocated to central Wodonga to expand its services and allow “space to grow for the future”.

Personal Best Physiotherapy owner and operator Nathan Mobbs says he and his team of dedicated health professionals offer a range of services to help with lower back pain, shoulder problems, hip issues or neck and arm pain.

The business recently relocated from Waratah Way in West Wodonga to a much larger location at 10 Nilmar Avenue, Wodonga.

“We now have a much-needed physiotherapy gym where our team can test and challenge their patients once they are out of the acute pain stage,” Mr Mobbs said.

“Having the space and equipment to safely challenge our patients under the supervision of their physio is great for rehabilitation – it shows us what you need to work on to get back to your normal activities.

“The new gym also provides a space to run small group strength classes led by a physiotherapist, due to start in September/October this year.”

Mr Mobbs started his physiotherapy practice in 2010 and his first patients remember seeing him in a small three-square metre room in what was then the Lifestyle Fitness Centre.

Since then his practice has steadily grown, without losing its focus on individual care and outstanding customer service.

The new home also allows for a dedicated remedial massage service, a women’s health physiotherapist (Natasha Russell) and space to grow for the future.

Mr Mobbs said he and his team were excited to welcome existing patients to the new location, as well as help new patients looking for a team of dedicated physiotherapists and remedial massage therapists.

“Our mission is to help our patients move, feel and live better and we pride ourselves on understanding not only where our client’s pain is coming from but why it has developed and how we can help,” Mr Mobbs said.

The business is open Mondays and Wednesdays 8am to 6pm, Tuesdays and Thursdays 9am to 6pm, and Fridays 8am to 5.30pm.
