New business nails location

Wodonga’s newest nail studio has snapped up a prime location along High St, next door to Country Chicken Stop.

Myri Studio provides a range of nail services, including the latest nail trends and its own hybrid version of both SNS and Shellac that gives a more “natural-looking” finish.

Owner Alex Lee has employed five nail technicians who have experience in all manicure and pedicure services.

"We are a modern nail studio offering great value and high-quality service," he said.

"We moved in three weeks ago and celebrated with a grand opening, providing free foot and hand masks for all our customers who received a nail service.

"The grand opening was a success and now word is getting around that we are here."

Mr Lee said the shop's location was perfect.

"We are in the centre of Wodonga and we get a lot of foot traffic through Bennetts Lane which runs beside the studio," he said.

Nail technicians Claire Su and Amber Wang, who have both come from Albury nail salons, believe there’s a market in Wodonga for another nail salon.

"We have been busy since day one ... nail services are a great way to relax and get pampered at the same time," Claire said.

With the arrival of spring and warmer weather, colour has been popular with clients asking for baby pinks, pale yellows and muted greens.

“Customer service is our utmost priority and we have really thought about our customers," Claire said.

"We have pedicure chairs that provide luxury for our customers because our mission is to create an unforgettable and personalised experience.”

The business is open Monday to Wednesday 9am to 5.30pm, Thursday 9am to 8pm, Friday 9am to 5.30pm and Saturday and Sunday 10am to 4pm.
