One-stop destination for all your hair and beauty needs

A hair salon is the latest tenant to set up shop in the former Choppertown cafe in Wodonga’s Thomas Mitchell Drive.

CoLab Hair has two hairdressers - Lacy Hunter and Jessica Redenbach - on staff to provide a range of services from style cuts for both men and women, as well as blow waves and hair colours.

The business joins Brow Couture by Sandy and Washington Cyclisme Bicycle Store in the prominent central Wodonga location.

Owner Sandy Szabolics, who also owns Brow Couture by Sandy, purchased the building together with her husband, Daniel.

“Wodonga is a great place for a business, and we wanted to create something that would cater to everyone,” Mrs Szabolics said.

“We see it as a place to have your hair done, then go next door for a brow treatment and eventually we would like a coffee shop here.

“There’s demand here for a cafe, people keep asking if there will be a coffee shop. It’s just a matter of finding the right person.”

The business in currently closed due to Victoria’s lockdown.

Mrs Szabolics looks forward to the lockdown lifting and welcoming customers back to the precinct.

She said the location is ideal for business as there’s lots of foot traffic from those who use the rail trail and visit nearby businesses along Thomas Mitchell Drive.

CoLab Hair appointments can be booked through the businesses Instagram account.
